Thousands of modern flats, a few houses, many new flats and converted flats.

Attracts:
Singles, city workers, people wanting a pied-à-terre.

Amenities:
A wealth of venues and activity: concerts, theatres, cinemas, museums, galleries, sport facilities, specialist libraries. Lots of shops and restaurants but many are closed during week ends.

Comments:
This is were London started. Now it's a world centre for finance and banking and only 100 flats change hands every quarter. Village atmosphere, quiet during the week end.

Noise, lack of open spaces, few doctors and schools, rare parking places, lack of daylight.
